Board of Directors

We encourage anyone who is interested in assisting us to please come to our board meetings. We could use your help..."many hands make light work". 

Each year we experience the departure of valued members. Parents who are interested in joining the board are encouraged to speak to the President to see what role they can take part in.

Roles

President - The president shall be the chief executive officer of the Organization. The President shall preside at all the meetings of the board of directors and committee members.

Vice-President - The vice president shall be vested with all the powers and shall perform all the duties of the President in the absence or inability or unwillingness to act of the President. The Vice-President is also responsible for any advertising that is needed for the organization.

Secretary - The secretary shall give notices for all meetings of the Board of Directors and members when directed to do so and shall have charge of the minute books of the Organization. The secretary is responsible for taking minutes at all the meetings and for distributing copies of the minutes to all Board members.

Treasurer - The treasurer shall have the care and custody of all the funds of the Organization and shall deposit into the bank the same in the name of the Organization. 

Assistant Treasurer - The Assistant Treasurer shall assist the Treasurer's duties as needed, including monthly deposits, preparation of receipts, issuing of monthly remittances (cheque writing).

Fundraising Coordinator - The fundraising coordinator is responsible for the planning and implementation of all fundraising campaigns needed for the organization.

Webiste Administrator - The website Administrator is responsible for the maitenence and upkeep of the school website, including monthly updates, designing additional pages as required and renewing the URL/web space annually.

Social Convenor - The social convenor is responsible for planning the Christmas Party and the Spring Picnic.

Non-voting Member - These board members assist with fundraising and social functions throughout the year.
